According to a report by the International Trade Centre, Women Exporters contribute to Development..<" it makes good development sense and good business sense to set up programs that encourage women to build their businesses to enter the global economy.." says the report.

The CREATIVE INDIAN WOMEN SHOWCASE initiative is a collaboration with US based World Women Trade Fair-www.worldwomentradefair.com to empower Indian Women Handicrafts Entrepreneurs to showcase and to directly sell their products in North America and European Markets.

The Problem
Small women producers and retailers of innovative and creative Indian handicrafts tradition face barriers, resources and the opportunity to directly sell their products and expand their businesses into the global marketplace.This barriers among others are:-information on markets, product development, skills training to adequately prepare to export and to also also sustain their export growth.

The Vision
In collaboration with the World Women Trade Fair,the Creative Indian Women Showcase initiative is rooted in a strong inspiration and passion to develop and bring to the global marketplace innovative quality products produced by women that reflects and retains the rich Indian handicrafts traditions, leading to poverty alleviation,job creation and development.

The Program
The program in collaboration with the World Women Trade Fair is designed to help Indian Women in the cottage industry sector to export and to become more financially secured through:-
-Women Trailblazers Networking and skills training
-Annual Trailblazers Symposium,Award and Exposition
-Trade Missions and Trade Fairs.
Through these innovative programs,women entrepreneurs in the cottage industries are able to sell their products in venues in North America and in Europe, thereby increasing global market exposure for more women to export.

The Impact
Small Indian women owned cottage industries in rural villages and urban cities, empowered to directly reach and sell their products.
Poverty alleviation, job creation and increase in income levels.

It is our greatest hope to have the support of your organization to advance this innovation Creative Indian Women Showcase initiative to facilitate and help women move into exporting and contributing to development.
